We’re still waking up from the new boss domain revealed for Genshin Impact 2.5, but it seems like the hype for GI 2.6 is rising. We mentioned recently that Genshin Impact 2.6 might have two new characters, namely, Ayato and Heizou. Well, it seems like the developers are going a step further with leaks of a new Chasm boss called the Ruin Serpent.

Genshin Impact fans have been eagerly waiting for Ayato to become a playable character. We’ve seen him as an NPC until now, but players asked the developers when they will be able to play as him in the game. It seems as though their calls weren’t in vain.

The latest leaks on Twitter reveal Ayato standing beside a monstrous steampunk beast called the Ruin Serpent, or alternatively the Chasm Boss. You can see cogs and drills on the beast’s design, making it quite intimidating and scary compared to other creatures. We’re excited to see how players will fare against this enemy.

You need to bear in mind that this is just a leak, and we have no official reports on what we will see in Genshin Impact 2.6. All we know is that we’re terribly excited to get our hands on the update when it launches in March. We’ll be cranking up our PCs, PlayStations, and mobile devices to unlock the new characters and bosses as soon as possible.

Of course, there are so many quests we’re still trying to catch up on. For a game that’s free-to-play, it’s really outstanding how much content we’re receiving for the game. Sure, the same can be said for Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite, but we have to pay to get all of the legendary content. In any event, we’ll keep you updated if we hear any more news on Genshin Impact 2.6.
